What is the Prenatal Summit?

The Prenatal Summit on Education about Disabilities is an event sponsored by the Joseph P. Kennedy, Jr. Foundation that will be held from 8am-4:30pm on May 13, 2022 at Kennedy Krieger Institute at the Johns Hopkins Medical Campus in Baltimore Maryland and will also include a welcome reception on Thursday, May 12 from 7-9pm. Where can I stay?

We have a discounted room block available for $169 per night at the nearby Residence Inn Baltimore at The Johns Hopkins Medical Campus. Unless notified as a grant recipient, most attendees will need to make their own arrangements for a hotel room in addition to registration for the summit.

What is the purpose of this event?

To bring together stakeholders to discuss current challenges in the provision of accurate, up-to-date and balanced information about prenatally-diagnosed conditions and to set collective goals for the next five years.

Who will be attending?

Leaders from the medical, disability advocacy, policy, commercial, and bioethics, and genetic communities.

What does registration include?

The $75 registration covers the cost of the reception and summit and related materials, as well as hors d’oeuvres at the reception on Thursday and breakfast and lunch during the summit on Friday.
